Omer Katzir was born on 20th May, 1983 in the Galilean city of Karmiel in Israel, where he grew up and developed his musical talent.

In the year 2000 Omer began to professnaily practice his guitar playing and studied with Erez Suto in Karmiel until the end of 2006. In addition to his studies with Erez, Omer invested time and energy in learning the theories of jazz and easy-listening, until he himself could teach. At the same time Omer learned bass guitar and keyboards.

In March 2007 Omer began learning playing on Lute with Dr Levy Shaptovitsky, while focusing on music from the medieval and renaissance eras.

In addition to his active music career , Omer is writing science fiction and horror stories.
